Choosing the right WiFi device is just as important as choosing your internet plan. At Krishiinet, we help customers across Chennai, Tambaram, Tirupur, Chengalpattu & more understand the difference between Single Band ONT, Dual Band ONT, and Mesh Routers to make smarter decisions.
ONT (Optical Network Terminal) is the device that connects your home to our fiber broadband network. It usually comes with a built-in WiFi router. ONTs are typically of two types:
Feature | Single Band ONT | Dual Band ONT |
---|---|---|
WiFi Bands | 2.4GHz only | 2.4GHz + 5GHz |

Device Load | Limited | Supports multiple devices |
A Mesh WiFi Router is a system of multiple access points (nodes) working together to give you full-home coverage — no dead zones. Perfect for large homes, duplexes, or offices.
